Who's Listening

Spencer Cronk joined the City of Austin as City Manager in February 2018. His responsibilities include preparing a $4.2 billion budget for Council consideration, managing more than 14,000 City staff members, overseeing the recruitment and hiring process for City leadership positions, directing City operations, spearheading key initiatives, providing recommendations for policies and programs to City Council, and carrying out Council priorities. In his free time, he enjoys attending outdoor festivals, walking in our parks, and tasting the diverse cuisine from food trucks all around the city.
