The Austin City Council voted on June 4, 2020 to adopt the 2018 International Swimming Pool and Spa Code (ISPSC). The revised code goes into effect September 1, 2020. The City of Austin Building Criteria Manual is being updated to establish rules necessary to implement the ISPSC. This page serves to help you understand the proposed changes and provides a venue for stakeholder input.
