Artist Access Program Community Meeting
The Austin Parks and Recreation Department is asking for feedback at the community engagement meeting for the Artist Access Program on Thursday, June 14th, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Asian American Resource Center.
The Artist Access Program was developed in response to a City Council Resolution on providing longer hours at the cultural centers of the Austin Parks and Recreation department for the purposes of providing free or low-cost access to rehearsal and performance space.
The Community Engagement process will be facilitated by a seven member panel made up of representatives of seven different Council appointed Boards and Commissions. The community will have the opportunity to provide feedback on a wide variety of questions related to scheduling, marketing and operations of the program.
