What is the purpose of this information?
This information is designed to help you understand and prepare for requirements expected to be enacted beginning on the 1st of September 2020.
Why are these changes being made?
The State of Texas has mandated the City enact these changes. Currently there are multiple codes and state laws that dictate how swimming pools and spas are constructed and maintained. The 2018 International Swimming Pool and Spa Code will help swimming pool contractors and responsible parties by assisting in standardization of how these tasks are accomplished.
