Consultation has concluded

Thank You for Your Input on Emergency Medical Response Services

The City of Austin is completing a comprehensive review of how emergency medical services are dispatched and delivered to everyone across the city by the Austin Fire Department (AFD) and Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services (ATCEMS).

Earlier this spring, we asked Austinites to complete a survey to help:

* Gain a better understanding of the public’s access to care and emergency medical needs,

* Get insight on citizens’ expectations for emergency medical services response time,

* Assess the equity, efficiency, and quality of emergency medical services provided to all people in our community.

While the survey is now closed, feedback received will inform this project's final recommendations for optimizing emergency medical services. City administrators will receive the final report this summer.
