What are my question or comment options with regard to the proposed rules prior to adoption?
Please submit your questions or comments in the space provided on the SpeakUp Austin ECM 2021 2nd Quarter Rule change project page. Your feedback will be used to improve the proposed rules and how we deliver services once the rules are final.
What are my options for proposing suggestions outside of the rule changes considered on this page?
We welcome any feedback you have to help us continue to update and improve rules outlining Development Services Department processes in the future. Please provide us any thoughts or comments you may have, even if they do not pertain to the rule changes being considered using the Q&A feature on the project page or email DSDEngagementUnit@austintexas.gov.
Who will be impacted by the proposed rule changes?
Substantive changes to rules are not under consideration at this time. Any impact to the stakeholder community resulting from these changes is expected to be positive, as the Environmental Criteria Manual (ECM) will be easier for Development Services Department staff, stakeholders and the general public to read, understand, and use.
